Dust Mites Bites

There are all kinds of bugs out there that can be an annoyance around the home and outside.  With a little help we can help you identify the many bugs out there and to recognize what types of bites are dust mites bites.  There are many bugs out there that could cause you a great source of annoyance and problems over times.  They can wreck havoc on your skin as the may bite and cause rashes there.  Bugs are a major annoyance and a reason why many people like to avoid the outdoors as they do not have to deal with the bugs as much.   Bugs can cause many more problems than just by being gross and biting your skin.  Some can carry diseases with them that they can transfer to humans by biting them.  The mosquito has been well known to carry different diseases throughout history as it goes from person to person filling up on their delicious blood and then flying to another unsuspecting victim to pass on the disease again and again. Bugs can also help cause asthma and allergy problems for some unlucky individuals that have all kinds of breathing and respiratory problems. Dust mites can be a major cause of allergies and asthma problems in some individuals.  They can make overall breathing problems worse as they live in your pillow and bed coverings as well as some can be allergic to the mites themselves.  Dust mites can thrive in many areas and when allergy season is in full force they can make the situation that much worse.  They can help to add to the breathing problems of an individual as well as causing all kinds of other problems.  The months may play some affect on dust mite infestations, but they can find many different ways and reasons to infiltrate your home.  Here we will work to show you what dust mite bites look like and help you to identify them in your home.

Dust mites can make allergies a lot worse for someone who suffers from them in the spring as the temperature is just right and; many homes begin to air out their homes to get some fresh air after the long cold winter.  The dust mites can make it into homes this way as well as the allergens and pollens that can blow in that may start the breathing and allergy problems.  Not only do the dust mites get in with the allergens, but they help provide all kinds of vital nutrients and food source for the many dust mites that could be invading your home right now.  If you are deciding to air out your home from the long winter make sure to check for signs of dust mites afterwards, because even with a screen on your window they will still be able to pass through easily into your home.  These little dust mites are very small and can almost be impossible with the perfect conditions to notice them with the naked eye.  They can go right through that screen on the window and can take hold anywhere in your home.  The winter and fall months can also bring dust mite infestations to your home.  They do not like the cold weather, like many insects and animals, and will try to find a nice warm place to take up residence in for a while.  As the weather outside drops to unsavory conditions the bugs, as smart as they are, find a many great places where they could easily take up shelter in that has many great conditions for them with shelter, food, and nutrients all wrapped up in a great environment for them to live and thrive in for a while.  If you haven't been able to guess where this nice warm environment is in the middle of winter it is in your home.  The cold temperature pushes them inside your home where they can feed off your dead skin, dander, and other nutrients that are abundant in your home.  The dust mites can live all over your home as they can feed off of many things including pet skin, hair, dander, and from many other things.  Dust mites can cause all kinds of problems and annoyances including biting the people around them.  They are tiny and hard to see, but can travel in groups and if they were to bite you you may find rashes breaking out on your skin.  Let us show you some picture of dust mites bites and we can help you to identify the dust mites that may be in your home.

these are bed bug bites. they tend to bite in cluster of 3's. Dust mites (not book lice) cannot be seen by the naked eye. They feed off dead skin. The sensation of them biting, crawling is an allergy to them shedding their skin or poo. Though I have heard there is an aggressive type that does sort of bite. Cannot remember the scientific name. They can live in your car. I had to sell the care after getting it gassed so many times to no avail.

Dust mites do not bite people. The bites pictured are most likely bed bug bites.
